Science is absent from the history of curriculum

There is such a field, small as it is, as the history of curriculum. Take Explorations in Curriculum History, 2005, as an example. It is a large volume of 24 essays, unfortunately without an index. Some of the essays are about general studies, while more specific articles refer to social studies and the humanities.
