New page

===About our music===
Kobi and I, our evergreen theme seems to be to play music by very out bands. I like to think of myself as a Martin Gore, closeted het. Out music is usually fun, sarcastic, and it speaks to everybody of the pain and gain of reconciling who you are with who everyone else is.
====Rambling retrospective====
Kobi, I, and many other members of our class took music very seriously in school, a devotion like any varsity team member. I for one made many many mistakes in execution, but I relish the recollection of trying. I remember the audacity of co-writing and performing with TJ a thinly veiled torch song at a dance in the dining hall. The freakiest sound heard at any concert was Joe's sax reed played backwards over my otherwise boring study of counterpoint at a concert. I still think people thought I was playing all sorts of parts live as one-man-band backup of a Communards song for kobi, when actually I was just playing a simple lead behind the giant Kurzweil K250. I know I didn't take compliments well in school, but I very much respected the work and opinion of the rest of the musicians on campus.
