Ingredients, double or more for guests
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp shortening
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 t baking powder
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1 dash lemon zest
  • 3/4 cup honey
Preparation
  1. Mix above ingredients
  2. Fry in vegetable oil with citrus zest
  3. Dip in hot honey with citrus zest
  4. Allow to cool in a pile. Soft when warm, crunchy when left overnight.
