- Ingredients, double or more for guests
- 1 cup flour
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp shortening
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 t baking powder
- 1 dash salt
- 1 dash lemon zest
- 3/4 cup honey
- Preparation
- Mix above ingredients
- Fry in vegetable oil with citrus zest
- Dip in hot honey with citrus zest
- Allow to cool in a pile. Soft when warm, crunchy when left overnight.
