Talk:My Father's Watch

Missing reviews
The book reviews are mentioned in letters, as attached, but not included, at least next to the letter, in the DFH archives.
How about a bibliometric study of sources of diagrams and quotes, as gleaned from the permissions?
Determining demand
I will wait until AAPT Summer 2011 to ask teachers how interested they would be in a rewrite. Shawn 15:48, 21 July 2011 (UTC)

Box 5, of 8 in Cornell's archives of Don Holcomb's papers, contains a folder titled My Father's Watch, correspondence Aug 1968-July 1970. I went through the entire folder of about 250 pages for all the entries in this wiki dated June 23, 2011, taking notes in the wiki and also taking photos of interesting documents.
In the same box, there is a cyan notebook called "Aspects" with "D.F. Holcomb, Physics Laboratory, University of Kent, 1968-1969 (on to 1973)" written on the cover. As of 2011-06-23, I have taken photos of a few pages near the beginning, but there may be more of interest, e.g. pertaining to selection of energy topics and relevant Sci Am articles.
2011-06-28 I reviewed second folder, titled "My Father's Watch, correspondence June 1970-." The documents in it are not in as strict chronological order as in the first folder. There are a lot more people involved.
As of 2011-06-28, there are other folders in Box 5 that might have correspondence relevant to the development of MFW. I did glance at a letter from the 1960s folder concerning an introductory physics text.
