Foragers City Grocer
300 W 22. Curated food, for the most part the best of gourmet groceries. They provide doughnuts from Brooklyn's Dough, as well as packaged ethiopian, Finger Lakes produce, mega-expensive ice cream and chocolate, and hot coffees. There is a little restaurant attached.
House of Vegetarian
68 Mott St. For some salty mock meats, this is the place.

Robert Restaurant
2 Columbus Circle. I haven't been there yet, but it looks like the best of the restaurants with a view, and the most veggie-friendly.

800 6th Ave. Delicious thin pizza with fresh herbs you cut yourself.

246 W 18th St:Farm-to-table type food prepared very, very well. They let the long lines get to their head, though.
