W3schools

I praise w3schools for its clear and thorough (up to a certain level) guides to programming for the internet.

Often I look for tutorials or snippets on the internet to understand a new-to-me method for creating web pages, like AJAX, and run across many labyrinthine or incomplete explanations and examples. W3schools, on the other hand, provides examples from the ground up.
