Salamanca: The university town. Sandstone, very mellow.
Segovia. Aqueduct without mortar. Narrow pedestrian street. Nicely scaled Plaza Mayor.
Toledo: Visit Toledo by foot. Take escalators. Moorish architecture for all three abrahamics. Marzipan gifts. El greco. Entire town protected from development.

Special trips

It takes 45 minutes to get from the Airport to Sol, by two transfers, from line 8 to line 10 to line 3.
It takes 12 minutes to got from Sol to Legazpi via line 3.

Tickets

A single trip ticket costs 1.50 to 3.00 € depending on zone, whereas a 10-trip ticket costs 12.00 to 18.30 €. The more expensive tickets are only needed for trips beyond zone A.
