Northeast Sustainable Energy Association

I have been a member since 2004.

NESEA has geographically based sections. I have been involved with BASEA, the Boston area section, and subscribe to the email lists of BASEA, the Western NY section and NHSEA, the New Hampshire section. Central NY does not have a section, but a number of NESEA members involved in sustainable building and Junior Solar Sprint live in or near Ithaca.

While NESEA is mainly an association of building professionals, it has a branch dealing with education about sustainability, with emphases on transportation, solar resources, and wind resources. The education branch is the largest organizer of Junior Solar Sprint races in the Northeast, with teams competing annually at a NESEA-run race in Springfield, MA.

EnergyTeachers.org is listed in the Sustainable Green Pages (formerly Sustainable Yellow Pages).
